Exploring Seeds
As part of our Living Things inquiry unit, each student received a few seeds to explore. They found a partner with the same seeds and used adjectives to describe the seeds. We will be observing these seeds as they grow.

Letters from Authors
Back in October, we wrote letters to our favorite authors. We have received responses from several authors, some including posters and other fun materials. In addition, some students even received hand written notes and drawings from their authors! We hope to continue to receive notes from authors throughout the rest of the year. Writing a note to an author is always an option for students' daily reading response.
